After my successful sales at the Wellington Art Show, I was devastated not to be able to get to the Auckland Art Show due to winter flu. Apart from an open studio the next event for my art is the Tauranga Art & Garden Festival in November

Always a warm welcome at my studio

I live on the edge of beautiful Ohiwa Harbour near Opotiki in the eastern Bay of Plenty, Aotearoa New Zealand. I love to live sustainably, getting much of my food from land and sea.

I work in oil and cold wax, abstract, and often combine compatible media such as pencil, ink, collage. I choose materials that are reasonably sustainable and try to avoid acrylic to reduce the plastic load on our world.

My cypress frames are made from timber I have grown on our farm,

My formal training is in agricultural science and landscape architecture. I’ve been involved in sheep/beef farming and tree planting and gardening my whole life and worked in regional private ecological conservation.

“Loving your art on Instagram. Beautiful work.”
